When tipping in restaurants, 10 percent is considered adequate. Hotel bellboys are generally tipped a lump sum of 5 to 10 shekels, and not per bag. Tip cab drivers that use meters. If you have negotiated a price with the driver, assume that the tip is already included. Small tips (around 2 shekels) are given to bathroom and coatroom attendants.
