To cover the 50 kilometer (30 mile) distance from Ben-Gurion International Airport to Jerusalem takes at least 45 minutes by taxi. The cost is 110 shekels, but the price can go as high as 140 shekels after 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and holidays. The cheaper alternative is a shared taxi called sherut that drops off passengers at whatever address they request. Buses that go from the airport to the city's central station run every 30 minutes and cost about 16 shekels. There is no bus service in the evenings, on religious holidays, and from Friday afternoon to Saturday night

Sharing tours: People come from all over the world for this. Will it work?
No chance. Most people prefer a regular private tour.
Maybe. It's an interesting option, and we should try it. The price is lower, for sure.
Yes, it's a great idea! It gives unlimited options for a tour.
